Vintage Finds Of The Week

On my radar for Spring are bright pops of colour, varying shades of denim and mixing textures in shades of white, beige and cream. I was really happy to stumble upon some gorgeous pieces op-shopping this week which cater to all of the above!

My favourite finds are these bags, the bright embroiderer one is exactly the right amount of colour for me. I've been on the hunt for a clutch like this for ages so was really happy to find it sitting in the back of a pre-loved store waiting for me (clothes totally wait for us btw...surely it is not just me who thinks that..?). The black one is classic and pared back but I adore the texture and shape - perfect night bag which I am sure will get lots of use.

This lace top is EVERYTHING I love rolled into one...

White, check.

Lace, check.

Long sleeves, check.

High neck, check!

White lace is perfect pared back with just about any shade of denim as well as black and it is a very a welcome transeasonal addition to my wardrobe right now. Adding a little lace is a great way to avoid looking boring despite wearing a simple outfit- it is classic, interesting and adds some femininity to basic denim without being frou-frou.

The baker boy hat is my new obsession and is popping up everywhere right now. To be honest, I have never really met a hat I didn't like, I love love love them and I'm starting to realise I am basically Alex Mac minus the travelling liquid (if you don't know what I am talking about then I am much older than I thought!). I have a few baker boy hats already but this one is much more structured which is great for Summer. the softer, slouchy ones work well for Winter but this strong brim gives an almost nautical vibe which suits the season much better.

Spring is finally here and I can't wait to wear all of my long lost pieces which have been in storage for months. I don't plan on spending much to update my wardrobe, I am doing my usual thing and going vintage for the details and investing in just a few keys pieces to carry into Summer.

Happy first day of Spring babes!! x
