Pink has been named one of the top shades trending for Spring/Summer 2017 and I have decided to welcome the disruption of the mass black and white that is my wardrobe. I am sticking with a shade that still goes with everything else I own and love so no hot pink around here! This dusty pink shade is a perfect happy medium and has slowly been infiltrating my closet and, if you haven't noticed, my insta feed lately.

This little dress by Angel Biba was given to me by my sister and it is an absolute favourite. I usually stick to a more streamline silhouette but I love the shape of this kick out skirt with the tight bodice. The detail is gorgeous and the soft velvet against the mesh paneling is a beautiful play on contrast.

This Sir The Label leather jacket toughens up the look which is always important to me - I don't do ultra girly and if I do, I need to tame it somehow so this works perfectly. The shoes are old favourites too and the bucket bag is a style I don't often roll but I love this unexpected shape with the prettiness of the dress.

I am sold on dusty pink and this outfit is everything I love rolled into one!
