I love supporting local creatives and the aesthetic at soon to be launched online store, One Hunted, aligns perfectly with my vibe - a little coastal, hints of the 70's, slightly vintage but also modern and clean. For a quick low down on their style, check out their Instagram page here.
As a simple, neutral girl, I don't often find myself wearing prints but every now and then I find one I adore. I picked up this dress from the One Hunted pop up store when I attended Now Showing at A Flick Of Hares a few months ago as well as this corduroy pinafore dress. Both dresses hint at what can be expected from One Hunted and I can't wait to get my hands on the first drop of stock when the site goes live!
To get the low down on all things One Hunted, I grabbed a few minutes with the girl behind it all - Erin Behn.
What spurred the idea for One Hunted?
I have always been passionate about fashion and I have been doing the vintage side for a while now. Having my own brand has always been a dream of mine... and now I am working towards having my own store, another big dream.
What/who influences your style choices and buying direction?
Personally, my biggest style icon is Jamie Blakey, owner/founder of the label One Teaspoon. As much as my personal style influences my buying for OH, I aim to buy for my market - the typical OH girl who loves current trends but has her own style, the girl who likes to buy easy fashion but styles it to make it their own.
Where do you plan on heading with One Hunted?
Having our own store here in Canberra, expanding our hunted vintage range as well as launching our hunted basics. Ultimately our goal is to just keep growing and tap into the amazing collaborative culture canberra has to offer.... watch this space!
